    2. Who This Policy Applies To

This refund policy applies to all customers with an active, paid Mailgreet subscription. It covers:

    • Monthly Plans: Subscriptions billed on a month-to-month basis.
    • Annual Plans: Subscriptions billed once per year.
    • First-Time Purchases: Your initial purchase of a Mailgreet subscription.
    • Renewals: Automatic recurring charges for both monthly and annual plans.
    • Trial-to-Paid Conversions: The first charge that occurs after a free trial period ends.
    • Upgrades and Downgrades: Changes made to your plan during a billing cycle.

    3. Monthly Subscription Refunds

For our monthly plans, we offer a money-back guarantee within the 14 days of your initial purchase.

    • To be eligible for a full refund, you must request it within 14 days of subscribing.
    • Monthly plan renewals are not eligible for refunds.
    • Canceling your subscription stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period.

    4. Annual Plan Refunds

Our annual plans provide the best value and come with a 30-days refund window from the date of your initial purchase.

    • You can request a full refund within 14 days of starting a new annual subscription.
    • After 30 days, annual plans are generally non-refundable. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time if you choose to cancel your annual plan early.
    • Any promotional discounts applied to your purchase may be factored into the final refund amount. Annual plan renewals are not eligible for a refund.

    5. Cancellation vs. Refund

Understanding the difference between canceling your plan and requesting a refund is important.

    • Cancellation stops all future charges. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle, after which your account will be downgraded to our free plan.
    • A Refund is the process of returning funds for a purchase. A refund is not automatically issued when you cancel. You must contact our support team within the eligible refund window to request one.
    • After cancellation, you will retain full access to your paid features until the end of your billing period.

    6. Trial, Plan Changes, and Renewal Billing

Our billing policy is designed to be straightforward, especially regarding trials, renewals, and plan changes.

    • Free Trial Conversions: When your free trial ends, your card will be charged for the plan you selected. These first-time charges are subject to the refund windows outlined above (14 days for monthly, 30 for annual).
    • Auto-Renewal: For your convenience, all paid subscriptions are set to renew automatically. Renewal charges are not refundable. We send a reminder email before your annual renewal date.
    • Forgotten Cancellations: It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the renewal date. We do not offer refunds for forgotten cancellations.
    • Upgrades: When you upgrade your plan, the charge is typically prorated. These charges are non-refundable.
    • Downgrades: If you downgrade, your plan will change at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not issue refunds or credits for downgrades.

    7. Non-Refundable Charges

Certain charges and fees are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances. These include:

    • Subscription renewals (both monthly and annual).
    • Add-on services or one-time purchases.
    • Taxes and government-mandated fees.
    • Charges for accounts terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
    • Fees for subscriptions that have been previously refunded.

    8. Cases Where Refunds May Be Denied

We reserve the right to deny a refund request in certain situations to protect our platform and prevent abuse. These include:

    • A history of repeated refund requests.
    • Suspected fraudulent activity or chargeback abuse.
    • Violations of our anti-spam rules or acceptable use policies.
    • Misuse of the platform or breach of our Terms of Service.

    9. How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is a simple, two-step process.

    10. Refund Processing Time

    • Our team reviews and processes refund requests within 3 business days.
    • After we issue the refund, it can take 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account. The exact time can vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

    11. Account Access, Data, and Service After Refund
